Set up normally whether it be for a chip shot or full swing.

Throw down another ball that is closer to you, that when struck, original ball would not get hit.

If done correctly, watch those dreaded shanks disappear.

I am incredibly honored to be named an Operation 36 Top 50 coach for 2023. This wouldn’t be possible without all of the support from the numerous colleagues that have helped me along the way. Fall in love with practicing your short game. It allows you a time to be creative while having fun.

By using one club you get to understand exactly how the ball reacts with different setups, ball positions, and swing styles. This will give you supreme confidence when faced with such shots out on the golf course.

Grab any type of ball and help combat your slice is with the use of this amazing drill. Doing it correctly will instantly improve your over the top swing path.

Do you dread when your ball ends up in a bunker?

Dread no longer. The game is easy when we focus on a process instead of a result.

This is one of the best drills in all of golf!

Do you have a herky/jerky motion as you are about to make contact with the ball?

The focus should be on rotating to your target.

Let that ball get in the way of a smooth, rhythmic golf swing.

This drill will help minimize wrist flip and help you with rotation.

Start seeing an improvement with your ball contact.

The use of an alignment stick helps take the focus off of striking the ball and more on the sensation and feel of staying connected through the stroke.

Bump and Run Shot

- Lower lofted club
- Grip down
- Raise handle
- Smooth and even pendulum swing (visualize putter stroke)
- Ball with fly roughly 25% of total distance in the air and roll out remaining 75% to the flag

Deep breathing and relaxation are vital for golfers to perform at their best.

Implement this technique, not just on the golf course but in your daily lives as well (prior to an interview, while sitting in traffic, after an argument with your partner)

Control what you can control. Your breathing is one of those things!

Struggle with chunks and/or topping the golf ball?

All you need is a towel to help you strike the ball more solidly. This drill helps with low point control and compression.

Do you have too much lateral shift in your golf swing?

The ☀️ can be your best friend to help combat this swing flaw. Use your own shadow along with two golf balls and work on your swing anytime, anywhere.

TPC Interclub 2022 at TPC Louisiana was such a blast. I had an amazing time in New Orleans with such a great group of guys, representing TPC Stonebrae. We didn’t end up qualifying for Sectionals in Georgia but I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to build lasting memories and friendships.
